Dr. James Sussman, DO, FACP

dr. sussman

Dr. Sussman is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Allergy/Immunology. He graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and served a fellowship in Allergy and Clinical Immunology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

Dr. Sussman is a Diplomat of the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners. He is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Medicine, University of New Mexico Medical School. He is an active member of the staff of Los Alamos Medical Center and University of New Mexico Hospital, and on the consulting staff of St. Vincent Hospital in Santa Fe. He serves on the New Mexico State Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners. He is included in the Fourth and Fifth (most current) listings of The Best Doctors in America. He has received the Distinguished Service Award from the Northern New Mexico District, Boy Scouts of America. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.

He and his wife, Susan, have three children.

Dr. Sussman has been an investigator in clinical research studies for allergic rhinitis, asthma, pneumonia, and skin infections.

Patricia McCulloch, PA-C

Patricia is a Board Certified Physician Assistant, having earned her masters in PA studies in 2004 from the University of St. Francis Physicians Assistant Program. She also earned a Bachelor of Basic Sciences degree with High Honors from New Mexico Tech in 2001.

She has done clinical rotations around the state including emergency medicine and surgery in Espanola, pediatrics in Deming, behavioral medicine in Albuquerque, and internal medicine and gynecology in Los Alamos, giving her a well rounded and compassionate view of patient care.

Patricia has done healthcare related volunteer work for the Boy Scouts in Los Alamos, the New Mexico State Fair and the New Mexico State Science Fair in Albuquerque, and for public health agencies and daycare centers around the state.

She lives in Los Alamos with her husband, Quinn, and their son.

Dr. Sussman and Patricia McCulloch are accepting new patients for consultation for allergy, immunology, and pulmonary problems.

Yvette Fields, PA-C

Yvette is a board-certified Physician Assistant. She graduated in 1996 from George Washington University’s Physician Assistant Program. She completed her undergraduate degree from University of Florida in Anthropology.

Yvette has worked in public and community health in Florida, Maryland, Washington, DC, and New Mexico. She is conversant in Spanish. She has over ten years of clinical experience in family practice in various locations in Northern New Mexico, including Las Vegas, Springer, Española, and Santa Fe.

Yvette is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, New Mexico Academy of Physician Assistants, and American Academy of Physician Assistants in Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.

She lives in Santa Fe with her husband Tim and three children.
